Homemaker Care for Veterans: A Veterans Affairs program that provides assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), in order to help Veterans continue living safely and independently in their own homes.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CDS
A CDS program participant must:
✔︎ Be eligible for MO HealthNet (Medicaid).
✔︎ Be 18 years of age or older.
✔︎ Be able to direct his or her own care.
✔︎ Be capable of living independently with the services of a personal care attendant.
SELECT THE CAREGIVER OF YOUR CHOICE
Receive care from anyone who is 18+ with a clear background screening:
✔︎ Friend.
✔︎ Family member.
✔︎ Child.
✘ With the exception of spouses.
YOUR CAREGIVER GETS PAID WEEKLY
As a Fiscal Management Service (FMS) vendor, we offer:
✔︎ Excellent pay rate - $14 per hour.

Consumer Directed Services
Consumer Directed Services (CDS) is a Missouri Medicaid-based program that enables consumers to recruit, hire, and direct their own home care workers. One of the highlights of the program is that it allows consumers to hire family members and friends. This program will provide compensation to the loved one who is caring for the consumer as long as that loved one is not a spouse.
