The VA Homemaker and Home Health Aide Care is a program available to all qualifying Veterans who are enrolled in VA Healthcare. This is a service for Veterans who have a clinical need for help with basic activities of daily living (ADLs).

1st Advanced Care works with Veterans through a referral for services from your VA primary care physician, nurse or social worker. A Homemaker is a trained person who can come to a Veteran's home and help the Veteran take care of themselves and their daily activities. A Homemaker can be used as a part of an alternative to nursing home care, and as a way to get Respite Care at home for Veterans and their family caregiver. The services of a Homemaker can help Veterans remain living in their own home and can serve Veterans of any age.
